Sokol Blosser Expands Sales Team with New Central Region Sales Director

Addition of Shannon Eastman Strengthens On-the-Ground Sales Capabilities in Many High-Volume States

Dundee Hills, Ore. – Aug. 2, 2023 – Sokol Blosser, a pioneering family-owned and -operated winery, is pleased to announce the expansion of its sales team. Shannon Eastman joins the team in the newly created position of Director of Sales, Central Division, effective Aug. 1.

Shannon brings more than 20 years of experience on both the distribution and supplier side. Shannon joins Sokol Blosser from Pacific Highway Wines, where she was Director of Sales for the southern region. Prior to that, Shannon was in sales leadership roles with Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits, RNDC, Luxco, J Vineyards, Santa Margherita, Union Wine Company and Disarrono.

“We are thrilled to welcome Shannon to the team,” said Barron Beltz, vice president of Sales. “Shannon is precisely the high-caliber type of person that we hoped to find. Her reputation as an outstanding industry professional with strong values coupled with her ability to create enduring relationships makes her perfect for this role. Additionally, it gives us much-needed sales focus in a number of high-volume states, which were previously managed by our West and East region sales directors.”

Shannon will be based in Scottsdale, Ariz., and will be responsible for sales in 20 states in the Central U.S. including Arizona, Texas, Illinois, Minnesota, Tennessee and Ohio. The addition of Shannon enhances Sokol Blosser’s on-the-ground sales coverage, currently led by Sara Manucy, who covers the Eastern Region and Emily Zegar, who covers the West as well as 15 international export markets.

“I’m very excited to be a part of the most amazing wine sales team in the world!” said Shannon. “Family is important to me, and I’m honored that I was invited to be a part of the Sokol Blosser family and work with such a dynamic, talented team at one of the Willamette Valley’s most iconic wineries.”
