  • Tasting Room Support & Culinary Associate

    Prep and serve food to support our culinary program and wine sales

    • Assist with inventory count, stock and order as needed
    • Participate and maintain the organization of the kitchen
    • Fulfill wine purchase orders and assist guest with carrying their purchases
    • Clean, clear and stock glassware and dishes
    • Clear glasses and dishes as needed from tables
    • Floor care; sweeping and mopping floor
    • Empty all trash and recycling as needed
    • Assist in set up and take down of winery events

    Looking for a key player who has:

    • Culinary school or experience
    • Able to work well in a team environment
    • Able to prioritize and stay organized in as changes happen often
    • Able to lift and carry 45 lbs.; able to stand for long periods of time
    • Must be able to work weekends and evenings throughout the year
    • Able to use a knife and other apparatuses to prepare and serve food
    • Able to use kitchen cooking equipment
    • Possess or able to obtain an OLCC server’s permit and food handler’s card
  • Tasting Room Associate (full-time)
    We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time Tasting Room Sales Associate who loves wine and can multi-task with a fun, customer service-oriented team to: entertain, educate, serve, and provide an excellent experience to guests in our Tasting Room. To be successful in this position, you should be passionate about food and wine, love to interact with people and like to work in a team environment. This position will be required to work on weekends as well as weekdays and evenings. Schedules will flex. Hourly rate, plus tips and commissions.
    Job duties include, but are not limited to:
    • Interact with and engage customers with knowledge of Sokol Blosser brands and products
    • Pour wine
    • Actively pursue and achieve team and individual sales goals in the Tasting Room
    • Stock sales displays and wine inventories
    • Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and complete guest orders
    • Maintain Tasting Room and surrounding areas to be presentable to guests
    • Host guest tours
    • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and with customers
    • Must be 21 yrs of age and posses a OLCC server’s permit
    • Ability to multitask and manage varying levels of stress
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Experience in food, beverage or hospitality industries desired
