Harvest update: September 24, 2015

With September winding down and fall moving in across the Willamette Valley, our team is hard at work inside the winery.

Alex Sokol Blosser’s Vineyard Report for September 24, 2015:

  • We have finished bringing in grapes from our Estate and are right on track with our 2015 harvest timeline.
  • Fermentation is winding down with pinot noir expected to be done early next week and pinot gris by the end of next week.
  • Punch downs are currently happening twice a day at around 6am and 6pm and are expected to be finished by this weekend.
  • We are starting to fill barrels which is a very good feeling and expect all wines to be in barrel by the end of October.
