On the nose, this wine is complex with asian pear, papaya and slate with hints of honey. On the palate, the honey and slate carry through, and are joined by lime zest and candied mango. This wine will pair beautifully with a crispy Chicken schnitzel or fresh sushi and sashimi.

Our 2019 Dundee Hills Estate Chardonnay has notes of candied lemon peel, yellow apple, and honeydew, as well as vanilla and yellow flowers. On the palate, the yellow apple remains, but the lemon evolves to Meyer lemon zest, and the honeydew becomes more like cantaloupe. Additionally, there is a delightful note of vanilla and butter on the palate to round it out. This wine pairs beautifully with baked halibut, shrimp scampi, and crab cakes with Bearnaise sauce.

Our winemaking team has been working overtime to come up with the wine that has it all! The wine that has not only the body and the flavor, but it has to be bright too! Meet our newest member of the Evolution family: the Sauvignon Blanc/Riesling.
This wine bursts with yellow flowers, mango, and passion fruit on the nose, accented by orange blossom and pineapple. These continue to shine on the palate, with a slight herbaceous hint on the finish. This wine goes great with fresh summer salads, yellow curry, or you can find your gourmet side and serve it with a light tropical whitefish.
The Blackberry Block Estate Pinot Noir is the first piece of land purchased by Alison and Alex Sokol Blosser when they succeeded Bill and Susan Sokol Blosser in the family business. It was named for the 20+ years of untamed growth of blackberry bushes throughout the block. Despite all the hard work to prepare the land for planting in 2008, it now thrives as one of Sokol Blosser’s Cellar Club designated wines.
On the nose, the 2019 Blackberry Block Estate Pinot Noir shows notes of black cherry, mushroom and leather, complemented by marionberry and light baking spices. The palate largely matches the nose, though the baking spices and leather make way for raspberry and light toast. This wine will pair beautifully with cedar plank salmon with berry sauce, a classic mushroom risotto, or a beautifully seared duck breast.

Our Dundee Hills Estate Pinot Noir epitomizes everything Sokol Blosser has stood for in 50 years of winegrowing in Oregon. Crafted to be a true expression of terroir from our hillside vines and Jory soil, this wine is made from a low yield crop that is dry-farmed for quality and comprised of a variety of clones.
The nose is rich with mushroom, truffle, and forest floor, accompanied by black cherry, cranberry, and clove. The palate reflects the cranberry, black cherry and truffle, but also introduces a dash of black
pepper with medium tannins and acidity on the finish.

“This was a great vintage. Period. I will likely never see another vintage like this in my lifetime,”
says Winemaker Alex Sokol Blosser. “Growing & harvest conditions were ideal as we had a cool, wet spring with a dry, warm summer.”
Pairings include, wild salmon, Ahi tuna, wild game, duck, pork, rack of lamb and filet mignon (or whatever cut you prefer). Our 2012 Dundee Hills Pinot Noir will hold up to the most intense flavors but not overwhelm.
