With September winding down and fall moving in across the Willamette Valley, our team is hard at work inside the winery.
Alex Sokol Blosser’s Vineyard Report for September 24, 2015:
- We have finished bringing in grapes from our Estate and are right on track with our 2015 harvest timeline.
- Fermentation is winding down with pinot noir expected to be done early next week and pinot gris by the end of next week.
- Punch downs are currently happening twice a day at around 6am and 6pm and are expected to be finished by this weekend.
- We are starting to fill barrels which is a very good feeling and expect all wines to be in barrel by the end of October.
