Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival

Date: August 22, 2026

Time: 5:30pm - 7:30pm

Join us for the final weekend of the Willamette Valley Chamber Music Festival. The Season 11 finale will be held at Sokol Blosser above our rolling vineyard views of the Dundee Hills. Pair the finale performance by Dvořák's "American" Quartet and Pura Fé with a specially crafted, wine tasting. In addition to the included wine tasting, you can purchase food and wine throughout the evening while you enjoy a summer evening with classical music and vineyard views.

We pair Dvořák's beloved "American" String Quartet with Chickasaw composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate's arrangement of Rattle Songs by Pura Fé. Fé is a Tuscarora Deer Clan musician descended from a long maternal lineage of singers, and her work may be as close as we can get to the Native American music that moved Dvořák in the 1890s to celebrate the voice of our young country. Lei Liang's Song Recollections completes the evening.

PROGRAM

  • Pura FÉ — Rattle Songs (arr. Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate)
  • Lei LIANG — Song Recollections
  • Antonín DVOŘÁK — String Quartet No. 12 in F Major, Op. 96, "American"
