Evolution is our favorite wine. We're very excited about visiting the winery while honeymooning in Oregon in September! |

We're a couple of die-hard red drinkers, but on our recent trip to Hawaii we had a change of heart. While at a local restaurant on the North Shore of Oahu our waiter recommended Evolution to pair with our fresh Mahi Mahi and the revolution began. What an amazing blend! We're hooked. |

Hilary discovered Evolution at a little restaurant called Ambrozia, just off Albuquerque's charming Old Town Plaza. It was a lovely after-work chat with a good friend, a lighthearted but sincere interchange, and the wine was an intuitive pick, partly because of the name, and partly because of Hilary's penchant for adventure. She was so amazed by the light, complex, surprisingly delightful and drinkable qualities that it has now become our official "special occasion" wine. Since we got married over a decade ago, our "anniversary" wine had been Conundrum (Caymus), because we first tried it on our honeymoon and loved it - but, alas, the name was sold off and the blend corrupted and last year we were very disappointed, and wondered if we'd ever find another unusual and enigmatic wine to love - thank you for Evolution, it has taken us to the next level! We're hoping to find Meditrina locally, too. |

I first came across Evoloution at a restaraunt I worked at in Michigan. Our manager bought a couple of cases from our wine rep and let the staff try it. I immediately loved it because of its versatility and complexity. It was unbelievably easy to pair with most of the cusine that we provided. I was able to sell it to the guests at an alarming rate. Needless to say our manager thought he was going to have to put it on the "by the glass" list to get it to move. That never happened. |

A couple of years ago I was at Epic Bistro & Wine Bar in Concord, Ohio for dinner with friends. The bottle of Reisling wine I requested was unavailable, so our waiter suggested we try Evolution. We loved it. It's now one of our favorite white wines! |

This wine is fantastic, that is a compliment coming from someone who until now was a strict red drinker. A friend brought us a bottle from Oregon when he moved back to California. It was a hit. I saw the last post that mentioned Sacramento. I looked around to find some more in the Sacramento area and found a bunch at Cost Plus. I propmtly bought 6 bottles. |

2 friends, my wife, and I went to a 0fancy resturaunt here in sacramento for a birthday dinner for Ed, spouse of Linda, family friends for years. They instructed me to pick the wine as they considered me the conisour. I selected the evolution #9 as I had never heard of it and thought it sounded interesting. also, since I grew up in the Willamette Valley (Newberg) looooooong before it became a wine growing area, while the Dundee hills were growing walnuts instead of houses and wine grapes, I naturally picked your wine from the list. Needless to say, the choice was a hit. Linda kept the bottle, and I kept the cork so I could be sure and get the spelling correct. Linda will keep us posted on where she finds it available in the Sacramento area..... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. Since I still have family in the area I will be up to visit the winery in the near future. |

I had this wine with friends at the suggestion of a waiter. My friends are not big wine drinkers, I am. WE ALL LOVED this WINE. It has such varied dimensions, yet a very easy and enjoyable taste. Not to full, not too light, not too sweet, not too dry. I was so impressed, I will be buying online until a retailer in Kansas City begins to carry it. |

I first tried this amazing wine at a restaurant called Tellers in Hyde Park, Ohio. Normally I am not that impressed with wines but that night I decided to try. I asked the waitress what white wine she would suggest and she suggested Evolution. I was completely and utterly impressed. Words could not explain how shocked I was. This wine is incredibly easy to drink and should be given a chance by all. |

Hi. i live in Louisiana and work for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. I first tried this wine when we added it to our wine list about 6 months ago. I fell in love with it immediately. It's a wonderful wine with all of our fine foods, and a fun light wine by itself. It's a non-dry white with hints of tropical fruit as well as a touch of black cherry. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thanks for blending these 9 grapes into a fascinating wine. |

I work for a very well-respected fine dining restaurant company in an Asian Concept. I'm generally not a raving fan of the lighter whites, but I find myself drinking this wine and selling it always to my tables. It compliments most any dish in my restaurant and the bottle by its look generally sells itself. I'm always more than willing to tell my table, "If you don't like this wine, the bottle's on me..." Cheers! |

My husband and I first tried Evolution on a visit from South Jersey to Portland, Oregon in 2003. We were already familiar with the Sokol Blosser Muller Thurgau from a previous visit to the Northwest, and liked it very, very much, but we fell head over wine glass in love with Evolution. Once home, we got our local liquor store to order it for us by the case, and encouraged them to put it out for their other customers too. Our home town, Collingswood, NJ has become a big BYOB restaurant town (it's dry), and several times now when we've gone out to dinner with our bottle of Evolution in hand other diners, and even the wait staff, have been compelled to stop by our table and gush about how Evolution is their favorite wine too. I don't know what kind of magic you put in those bottles, but I hope you never run out! |

I first heard of EVOLUTION when asking for a semi-dry Reisling white wine at an exclusive restaurant in Wilmington, Delaware. A taster was provided by the waiter and I was hooked....a favorite ever since. Approximately 5 years later in 2005 my wife and I were on a Holland America cruise and wanted to establish a wine to be kept and served nightly with our dinner. I jokingly asked if they inventoried EVOLUTION and found thaey did! It continues year after year as a favorite white wine. |

We had Evolution 9th Edition at the Missoula Country Club during dinner, on the suggestion of the server, it was excellent. It has a wonderful flavor and blended well with our meals. We are making a trip from Montana to Oregon over Thanksgiving and are planning to visit the Winery to purchase a case. |

I purchased a bottle of Evolution just on the label alone... I'm a graphic designer... needless to say, I enjoyed the wine very much. Great wine paired with great design... you guys are definitely doing something right. |

I fell in love with Sokol Blosser wines while on our honeymoon 19 years ago at the Salishan Lodge. I can never seem to find it up here in Washington, but I discovered Evolution a couple weeks ago while dining out, and I had to try it. It sounded superb, and I was not dissapointed - it was simply incredible. It not only complimented the lobster beautifully, but it also went well with the filet mignon! I can see where it would be amazing with asian or more spicy foods as well. This is definitely my new favorite wine...... now I just have to find somewhere around here that sells it! |

The first time I tasted this, the waiter at the Sushi restaurant "bet" us to drink the wine or the bottle was on him. Needless to say, we ended up LOVING it! I recommend this with anything but particularly enjoy pairing it with Asian foods. I routinly "bet" acquaintances and the wine always wins! |

Just had a glass (or 3) at Typhoon Thai in Portland, OR. Then went out and bought a bottle (or 2). Fantastic, complex, floral, complimented the Thai Pumpkin Soup perfectly. Well done! |

You need to add New York to the places to sip Evolution. I just returned from a trip to Manhattan, and had one of the best meals I've ever had at a restaurant called Tabla. The restaurant features New American/Indian fusion cuisine. The wait staff recommended Evolution, and it went perfectly with the food. My girlfreind, whose tastes range from sweet to off-dry whites declared ite her favorite wine ever. My tastes run from off-dry whites to big reds, and I loved it, too. Very drinkable, bu with enough complexity to make it interesting and complement a wide variety of foods. Great stuff! |

Thought you should add to your list of "places to sip Evolution" in California the Equinox Restaurant atop the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero in San Francisco. Our waiter suggested it as a pleasant change from the same old whites, and it was just what we were hoping for. I'll be looking hard to find places to purchase it in the Central Coast area of California. |

I was in Boston on business, and having a late night dinner. Because it was late, I thought I would have a pinot grigio. I read further down the wine list and saw Evolution. I asked the waiter about the wine and he said it had an interesting taste and thought I should give it a try. Well, I did, and I am hooked. The next night I had dinner at the same restaurant, and I have to tell you it was all about the wine. I asked the waiter for a bottle, took down all the necessary information, and now I can say that I am hooked. I will be making a visit to my wine store this weekend to hopefully pick up a few bottles. It will also be added to my holiday gift giving list. Thank you for this wonderful wine. It was the highlight of my travels. |

I am a long-time wine drinker... and my wife had never drank wine when we married. It became my mission to find a wine that she liked, so we could start from there and move to others like it. It took 2 years and many bottles, but Evolution became the first that she enjoyed! It also became my favorite white wine, a hard sell- as I usually only go for reds. I recently deployed to Iraq, and the whole time, I couldn't wait to sip my next glass of Evolution. As I write this, the full glass is on my left and the empty bottle is on my right. Evolution has become so popular here in North Carolina, that it is sold-out in most wine stores and grocery stores in and around Wilmington. So I buy my case online! Cheers! |

A friend brought this wine to our party as a hostess gift (in Chicago) ... Several days after the party - we opened it and liked it so much - - we did not - - have it with food - just by itself! Wow, we loved it so much we looked up the web page to order more! Great wine! |

I ran into Evolution when it was being offered by the glass at one of my favorite restaurants several years ago. Since then it has become my personal house white wine. It's not surprising for my local wine store to be asked to pick up another case for me. It's a blend of all things good about white wine, leaving out those that are bad. |

I am the Chef / Owner of The Tartan Cafe in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I was in Dundee last week and spoke with the folks at Sokol Blosser, I decided to put the Evolution on my Wine list, and as a bold statement I told them I would sell a case of their tasty wine on its first weekend in Coeur d'Alene. We sold 14 bottles, and drank 2. Nothing but amazing comments from both staff and customers. Thank you Sokol Blosser for your great wines. |

I went to World Market in search of a variety of wines last Thursday night. While there, my three sons and I ran into their swimming instructor of three years who was clutching three bottles of Evolution that were on clearance. When I asked her what it was and how it tasted, she exclaimed that it was one of the best tasting wines she had discovered in some time. Seeing my eyes light up, she offered me one of her bottles, stating that she thought she had just scored the last three remaining bottles in the store. I passed on her offer, but in my travels up and down the aisles, I too found some of the treasured Evolution, all sporting the red clearance tag. Tonight, I grilled Wild Alaskan Salmon and for the first time chilled a bottle of Evolution to have with dinner. My review of the Salmon: Great job, God! My review of the wine: Wow!!! I have finally discovered an inexpensive white wine that truly tastes like it came from a batch of sweet, perfectly matured grapes and not the vinegar we use to clean the coffee maker! Sokol Blosser Winery deserves an article on the front page of the Food section of every newspaper in the world for this creation. I only hope that the fact that World Market had this on Clearance does not mean that I will have trouble finding this wine in Southeastern VA. It might be time to visit Costco and request that they strike a deal with Sokol Blosser and start featuring this classic in their selection of wines! Thank you, thank you, thank you! |

Great wine! Smooth and delicious, it really does go with just about everything. Only one question: what are the nine grapes?
Sokol Blosser responds: The nine grapes are: Muller-Thurgau, White Riesling, Semillon, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Muscat Canelli, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, and Sylvaner. Be sure to check out our new Evolution web site to learn more! |

I went to Sokol Blosser as the last stop of my Memorial Day wine tasting in 2002. I had tried Evolution and immediately fell in love with the smooth wine with fruity taste. Evolution is my replacement for Trimbach Pinot Griogio. Evolution was easy going down and til this day, I still buy a bottle every week although I moved to Texas. |
