Discover Portland
A couple months ago a camera crew hired by Northwest Airlines came to Sokol Blosser Winery. Their goal was to film some scenes - wine tasting, barrel racking, the lush scenary, our view of Mt. Hood, etc - that could be incorporated into an interactive online game to promote Northwest Airline's new direct flight linking Asia with Portland.
The resulting game is totally cool, so check it out! Visit NWA's Asia website, click on a country (I chose Hong Kong), then click on the flashy box "Discover 7 wonders of Portland, Oregon". You must register to actually play the game and see all the scenes from Sokol Blosser and 6 other hot touristy spots in Portland (Powell's Books, Pittock Mansion, Oregon Zoo, Japanese Gardens, Chinese Gardens and downtown). Alternatively, there is a neat screensaver/downloadable game that includes great views at Sokol Blosser.
There are, of course, prizes for winners (though winners must currently reside in Asia) - including wine!
