Carats & Pinot – a Match Made in Heaven

I will always be a sucker when it comes to looking in the windows of jewelry stores. I don’t usually leave nose prints, but I have been known to leave some finger prints… So, when Zell Brothers - one of the premier jewelry stores in downtown Portland - called me about collaborating with them on a window, I was ecstatic! If you’re ever in downtown Portland, be sure to stroll down Park Avenue and take a look at the winery-themed windows, especially ours.

The Sokol Blosser window features Zell’s beautiful Riedel glassware, including the new “O line, and an interesting wine rack. There are dummy bottles of Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and White Riesling Dessert Wine. There are some photos from the vineyard and one of Susan kneeling next to new plantings of Pinot Noir. We even chopped a barrel in half for them to use in the display. It’s pretty cool - take a look next time you can. And don’t be afraid to leave lots of nose and finger prints, especially around the bottles of Sokol Blosser wine!
